The He is Risen Easter Cross scrollsaw pattern is a quite simple pattern. This pattern would be great for new scrollers to hone their skills. It can be cut out in 1, 2 or 3 pieces. The reason you may want to do this is to have the cross made in a different species of wood from the hill. You may also want the orientation of the grain of the cross sections to go both vertically and horizontally.
